Inevitable

You knew it was coming... The Utah-BYU game. Holy (insert colorful noun here), I don't even know what to say. This was an awesome U of U season, an awesome awesome awesome game, and I think it's the most I've ever been into college football and its stats. Rather than rub it in the faces of my BYU-fan friends some more(only because I took so much crap all last week and never said ONE WORD back), I'll just illustrate the event with pictures that my dad and I took at the game.

The crowds re-storming the field.

The final score.

Paul Kruger during one of his t.v. interviews.

Paul Kruger still during one of his t.v. interviews. I met him, got him to sign my 'poster', and even got my hand on t.v.!! Let me tell you, that man is large and solid. See the top of my head at the bottom? :)

ME AND MATT ASIATA!!! I look a little... different. Different can be good. But I don't care, because that's MATT. ASIATA.

Matt Asiata signing my 'poster'. That's my sharpie he's using!! Matt Asiata touched my sharpie!

I also was about a foot away from Louie Sakoda, but he ran off too quickly for me to get a picture with him. I was rather depressed though, because basically the whole reason why I made my parents jump an 8 foot wall to get the field was to meet Freddie Brown, but (of course) he was nowhere to be seen. :'( :'( :'( I even brought a great sign for him and everything.

Best. Weekend. EVER.

OH YOU LUCKY LUCKY LUCKY LUCKY GIRL!!! DANG I WISH I COULD HAVE BEEN THERE TOO! You got a pic with MATT ASIATA!?! HE'S LIKE MY FAVORITE PLAYER! Well, along with Louie. And Brian J. And Freddie. And Paul Kruger. And the whole team. But yeah, that was THE BEST SEASON EVER!! I ditto basically everything you said in the first paragraph. Aren't you so sad that so many of our favorite players are graduating? It makes me want to cry.

Kate, I totally ditto everything you said there!! I didn't meet Freddie, and every time I rewatch the game, my heart hurts. :) But, really. I soooo regret not going onto the field earlier, but what can I say? My parents are a little old for jumping walls. :)

And you forgot Darrell Mack, and Brent Casteel, and probably some others I can't think of that are graduating. :'( :'(
