I want to be an Avatar.

I want to be a football player.

I want to meet Sandra Bullock.

I want to sit in the rain...and not get wet.

I want to get rid of all varicose/spider veins. Ever.

I want to own my own business.

I want to find an end to cancer.

I want to be nicer.

I want to have a six-pack.

I want to make someday today.

I want to organize my room.

I want to be Ingrid Michaelson.

I want to make everyone happy with their lives.

I want to join the Peace Corps.

I want to invent something new.

I want to "put something silly in the world." (Shel Silverstein)

I want to be creative.

I want to make new friends, and meet new people.

I want to save the dolphins.

I want to give to all the needy.

I want to share gum with someone.

I want some respect.

I want to be healthier.

I want a "real" Homer Award.

I want to make a difference.

That wavy stuff growing out of my head

I cut my hair. Too short, but that's what always happens. I think I like it. Quite a bit lot, actually.

Before the cut...

...and the lovely locks today. (Kate, you'd be so proud. The red wall in the background is only one wall of our all-out-all-Utes exercise room. It's for obsessive purposes and showing off, mostly.)

...or as you'll more commonly see me. (keep in mind this one was taken super late at night.)

You like?

Thursday, September 9, 2010

Uh-huh, uh-huh, and umm...yeah.

Yes, I DID wear a skirt today, the first actually windy day of the year.
And yes, it DID lift up rather inappropriately twice throughout the day.
And yes, there WERE people around.

HOWEVER...

Yes, I DID find some strange old man to talk to, and he is strangely my friend.

ALSO...

Yes, I DID find someone cute to talk/sit next to!
And yes, we DID actually talk.
Surprisingly, he IS taller than me.
And yes, he IS a Utah fan.

Check, check, check, check.

Unfortunately...

No, I have NOT eaten lunch with real live people yet. Just the pretend ones on my phone.

Fortunately...

School IS beginning to get slightly better for me. But just slightly.
