Update, I guess.

As I haven't posted anything in the last while, I just decided that I'd post several pictures from my school's Harvest dance that happened over the weekend:

(These pictures are already on Facebook)

Around the fire, makin s'mores

Coolest pumpkin EVER, I'd say.

Halloween always is a blast, wouldn't you agree?

Miscellaneous (related to football, no doubt)

WHAATTT??!!?

I just read this week that the Cincinatti Bengals NFL team cut Freddie Brown from their final roster. Wow. Dagger to the heart. Honestly, I think I shed several tears after reading that. He's my boy, and that really sucks. I was so excited to watch him play on tv again. :'(

On a [much, much] lighter note, it's FOOTBALL SEASON!! Bantam football (my lil bro's league), high school football, college football(which SERIOUSLY rocks my world), professional football... you name it, I watch it. And love it. And obsess over it. (I'm seriously contemplating whether or not to buy tickets to the Utes game on Halloween and go to that, instead of the Harvest Dance at VHS that night.) During football season, my priorities become all out-of-whack (or back into whack, idk...):

1. Utes football
2. Eating/Breathing
3. Family
4. Friends
5. School
6. Soccer team

...so on and so forth.

Ya gotta love it, baby.

Let the Countdown Begin...

It's almost here! Game #1 of the Utah Utes 2009 season is almost here!! It's on Thursday, and guess who'll be attending?... ME!!!

I'm pretty much very stoked. It'll be different without all my favorite seniors and my main man, Freddie Brown, but it's ok; I think I'll make it.

Back-to-School Hullabaloo

(Haha wow I really enjoy that word.)

Grow up, I know.

Anyway, as anyone in any school district anywhere should know, school is nastily peering just around the corner. I'm so not excited to go back. Wanna know what's worse? I have senioritis already. School hasn't even started, for heaven's sake! This could make out to be one long year.

As for the fact that college is just around the corner a block away from here, I think it's safe to say that I've been dealt a more-than-fair amount of stress on my plate. Decisions, decisions, decisions. (as of right now the "fly away on a hang glider to a faraway place where college and bills and money are neither a necessity or even an existence" option looks pretttyy tempting...)

Does anyone know a cure for senioritis? I'm pretty much bedridden.

Local Update (no one's going to read it anyway)

K, to the constant persuasion from my aunt, Lynette, here's my blog update(that no one's even going to read(see above)):

I'm alive.
I'm crazy busy.
I'm still 100% envolved in soccer.
I don't blog much.
Deciding where to go to college is majorly stressing me out.
Deciding what to study in college is majorly stressing me out.
Trying to get a soccer scholarship to "the right" school is majorly stressing me out.
Pretty much when you're me you have to deal with pressure well.
End of story.

So there you go. Glad you tuned in. :)

Daaanng...

Ok, wow. This whole "I'm gonna post stuff all the time on my blog" idea didn't really last long. So here's me telling all y'all that I'm still alive and kickin', even though my blog apparently shows me as being MIA.

I'm going to a soccer tournament in St. George, so maybe I'll post on that soon. Ish.

Pictures from the Previous "Perfection Parade" Post

Here's the pictures I promised from my previous post. As for the "Meet and Greet", my mom and I came, waited in the mile-long line for about an hour & 1/2, only to find that pretty much no "good" players were there. No Kyle Whittingham, Brian Johnson, Louie Sakoda, Freddie Brown, Stevenson Sylvester, Darrell Mack, Brent Casteel, and probably more. Maybe it was just the time that we came, but I'm still fairly disappointed. Anyway, here are the pictures I took at the parade. They kinda suck, and are pretty blurry, but at least it will give you some idea of the mayhem I 'conquered' in order to be in front. I high-fived any player I could reach, and most of them probably think I'm a freak...

The car with (from l - r) Stevenson Sylvester, Kyle Whittingham, and Brian Johnson.

A jeep with a bunch of players; Robert Johnson is #17 on the left.

The car with Morgan Scalley and his family.

More players on the sweeeet jeep; Louie Sakoda's on the far right.

Matt Asiata working the crowd. That one's for you, Kate. :)

MY PERSONAL FAVORITE: So it has really horrible picture quality, but Freddie Brown is officially who I am obsessed with. He looked right at me and my parents. That's right, me. Ask my mom how much I freaked out when I first saw him.

p.s.(Who bet on the Arizona Cardinals playing in the Super Bowl??)

!!DON'T FORGET TO VISIT MY PREVIOUS POST, BECAUSE THESE PICTURES GO ALONG WITH IT!!

Another U Update. Go figure.

So I'm pretty sure it's official now... I have University of Utah football coursing through my veins. I know it sounds dumb, but one of the biggest 'regrets' in my life is that I wasn't born a guy so I could play football at the U. It kills me every time I watch a game, U of U or not. Even writing this is painstaking.

My parents and I went to the "Perfection Parade" today, and it was so cool! It sounds pretty cheesy, but I love-love-loved it! We (by the relentless force I used to get through the crowds) were in the front row, which by the time everyone had moved beyond the barricades, was close enough to be run over by the cars carrying the coaches and administrators. We high-fived players, cheered, whooped, and hollered, got in the faces of un-neighborly fans, and I had a fantastic time.

We took some pictures, but my mom and I are going to the "meet and greet" tomorrow for photo ops with the team, so I figured I'll just add all of them in on the same post.

I CAN'T WAIT to be an "official" Ute.

Sugar Rush... Sugar High... You name it, I'm on it.

WOW.

OF COURSE I had to post on the game; it's just about the biggest highlight in my life since I discovered there was such a thing as sliced bread. The Sugar Bowl was insane!! So so crazy! Holy cow, what a way to end the season, not only for the leaving seniors, but also for the whole team in general. I was incredibly stoked for the game, and the 3+ hours I spent yelling and cheering at the t.v. during it made me a little lightheaded and hoarse at times. But, well worth it. I'm so jealous that I wasn't there.

Sorry to all the BYU fans if I wear a lot of Utah clothes this week and maybe next... I'm pretty proud/prideful.

p.s.(I texted into a radio station when they were talking about the game, and the dj read my comment, and discussed it with other listeners! That's right, I'm pretty much famous.)
