So I'm pretty sure it's official now... I have University of Utah football coursing through my veins. I know it sounds dumb, but one of the biggest 'regrets' in my life is that I wasn't born a guy so I could play football at the U. It kills me every time I watch a game, U of U or not. Even writing this is painstaking.
My parents and I went to the "Perfection Parade" today, and it was so cool! It sounds pretty cheesy, but I love-love-loved it! We (by the relentless force I used to get through the crowds) were in the front row, which by the time everyone had moved beyond the barricades, was close enough to be run over by the cars carrying the coaches and administrators. We high-fived players, cheered, whooped, and hollered, got in the faces of un-neighborly fans, and I had a fantastic time.
We took some pictures, but my mom and I are going to the "meet and greet" tomorrow for photo ops with the team, so I figured I'll just add all of them in on the same post.
I CAN'T WAIT to be an "official" Ute.

Ok, so I was seriously tempted to move to Utah while reading this. Say hi to Louie for me okay? And Matt Asiata if you can. Actually, I would love to meet the whole team. I dream about Utah football at night. I'm so glad to hear that there's another girl who regrets being a girl because she can't play football. :)
